Postgraduate students also have the opportunity to choose a module relevant to the subject of the Programme from the following MAs:
“Special Education” by DECE (UoA)
“Political Science and Sociology” by the Department of Political Science (UoA)
Students should file an application with their chosen module to the MA’s Coordinating Committee accompanied by the module’s outline and justify their choice in relation to their academic interests. The Coordinating Committee will approve or reject the student’s application. The application must be submitted at least two weeks before the deadline for the corresponding semester’s module enrollment.
1.2 INTERDISCIPLINARY SEMINAR (10 ECTS)
Interdisciplinary Seminar “Education, Rights and Inequalities” (first semester): 10 ECTS
1.3 DISSERTATION (40 ECTS)
The dissertation consists of two phases and is elaborated respectively in the 3rd and 4th semesters of studies:
a. Consolidation of the topic of the dissertation and formulation of the research plan
b. Implementation of the research and writing of the dissertation (about 20,000 words)
The dissertation is supported by a seminar, as well as a methodology laboratory for the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.
1.4 METHODOLOGY LABORATORY: DATA ANALYSIS
In parallel with the courses, the Laboratory of Methodology supports students’ research by focusing on the processing of quantitative data. It is optional and credited with ECTS as part of the Dissertation.
