Queer disabled routes – Homosexuality and Masculinities
The present work attempts to map how queer disabled men construct their disability and sexual identity. The dissertation also highlights how these two identities intertwine and what happens when such a process occurs. The work will follow the paths of ten (10) queer disabled men, who describe the performance of their identities to date.
The effects of Intersectionality, stigma, and hegemonic masculinity are related to the non-conformity of queer disabled subjects to the standards of their gender roles, heterosexuality, and ableism.
