Teachers as parents: strategies they follow for their children’s education
The aim of this dissertation is to study how teachers act as parents. The distinct characteristic of teachers is that their profession is directly related to children. In the face of teacher-parents two roles meet, two roles with common characteristics that influence each other. The question is how these interactions translate into the practices that they apply to their own children’s education and how these practices are related to their families, the school, other parents and teachers.
